Warranty Policy
I. Service Scope
i. Warranty Products:
To comply with the laws and regulations of the Republic of China (Taiwan), the warranty service provided is limited and applicable only to Mova International Corp. (hereinafter referred to as MI).
ii. Warranty Period:
The product is entitled to a one-year warranty service from the date of purchase. Consumers requesting warranty service need to provide the purchase invoice or proof for MI's verification. If consumers cannot provide the purchase invoice or proof, the warranty period will be calculated from the product's manufacturing date, starting from 18 months.
iii. Warranty Coverage Area:
These warranty terms are valid and applicable within the territory of Taiwan.
iv. Non-Warranty Coverage (including but not limited to):
- Warranty does not cover accessories.
- Surface damage, such as scratches, dents, and dings, is not covered under warranty unless it is caused by material or manufacturing defects.
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, water exposure, submersion, fire, or other external factors, including improper placement, is not covered under warranty.
- Repairs, modifications, or alterations conducted by unauthorized personnel not authorized by MI may result in permanent damage to the product and are not covered under warranty.
II. Precautions
i. Consumers applying for warranty service can first visit support.MI.com/zh-TW/ to fill out the information and seek assistance.
ii. After the 7-day evaluation period, for product warranty (repair), please schedule service through the official Mova International website.
iii. MI reserves the right to inspect the purchase proof (invoice) and the validity of warranty service requests. If the warranty period has expired or if the issue is outside the warranty coverage, the warranty application will be deemed invalid. If the warranty application is determined to be invalid, MI may, at the applicant's request, provide a repair price list as a reference for subsequent arrangements.
iv. The full cost of shipping incurred for warranty or repair purposes is the responsibility of the consumer.
v. MI reserves the right to refuse warranty applications for products or services obtained through violation of any national laws.
vi. Products purchased by consumers through auction websites are not covered under this warranty service. To avail of the warranty service, consumers must obtain a sales invoice from the original dealer or retailer.
vii. Products not sold locally in Taiwan
- When consumers apply for warranty service with MI, due to various factors such as local regulations, safety standards, tariffs, repair capabilities, and parts inventory, some products sold in certain countries may not be eligible for warranty service by returning them to MI. In such cases, MI can only provide limited warranty service.
- Non-Taiwanese consumers, regardless of whether the product is within the warranty coverage, need to seek warranty service through the authorized channels in the country of purchase (or may incur testing and manual processing fees). Additional taxes (including but not limited to customs duties) required by the recipient's country will be the responsibility of the consumer. Consumers who directly apply for warranty service from MI are subject to the same conditions.
viii. When consumers apply for product warranty or repair services, they should provide accurate contact information. In the event of changes to contact information during the repair period, consumers should promptly notify MI. If, due to their own reasons, consumers make it impossible for MI to return the product, and after MI notifies them, they refuse to retrieve the product or cannot be contacted, it is considered that the consumer has relinquished ownership of the product. MI has the right to handle it at its discretion
ix. Warranty/Repair Process (This customer service repair service only applies to products purchased directly from the Mova International official website and does not include products sold by other distributors).
